But first, in mathematics, a theorem is defined as a statement that can be proved to be true based facts. The pythagorean theorem is one of the best examples of the theorems, those could also be names of functions or the actual algorithms. Claire used @Wolfram_Alpha for the maths.

Try adding c² = a² + b² – 2ab * cos(C), or anything like e^(iπ) + 1 = 0 and see what happens. Enjoy.
