PROMPT SELECTION – ALONE IN THE CROWD
Have you met Tatiana Tsiguleva (@ciguleva) before? She is the head of design at Vial, a startup which helps scientists run clinical trials, and also a huge Midjourney enthusiast who happened to take on a challenge of spending 1000 days together with it. Daily Midjourney journey, not surprised really. It’s such an adventure. And the clock has just turned 91 on this. We’ve already mentioned her endeavour before here. If you haven’t heard about Tatiana yet, then it’s high time you did. You have a great opportunity to do so, as she has again come up with an incredible prompt that we like to call Alone in the Crowd.
Why do we like it so much? Well for a couple of reasons, one of them being the fact that the knowledge shared by Tatiana is a great source of inspiration for many and this is something that we are very enthusiastic about, same way her followers are. Secondly, by far fro what we know, Midjourney has some ups and downs with perspective and the mutual relation of objects within the picture thus presenting „a thing” in a crowd can be kind of challenge here. She nailed it! We have more reasons to spread a word or two about the prompt, but aestethics could be called another one…just take a look.
artist: @ciguleva / prompt: [YOUR OBJECT] in the middle of a blurred crowd, NYC, bustling city street, in a style of a movie still, by Wes Anderson, fog –ar 21:9 –style raw –q 2 –seed 4170935616 / source: Twitter
The Prompt reads:
[YOUR OBJECT] in the middle of a blurred crowd, NYC, bustling city street, in a style of a movie still, by Wes Anderson, fog —ar 21:9 —style raw —q 2 —seed 4170935616
And a little side not from the author:
‘You can remove the seed if you want to gen variations. For cars, I added „people” to the prompt because cars have bigger weights, so you’ll not get the crowd.’
NYC vibe makes us fell like we’re moving back in time watching either Coming to America starring Eddie Murphy or the renown Human of New York photo project by Brandon Stanton. This is how the thread went on. Amazing creations were fired off by Hugo Ventura [@hugovntr] and a Sparta guy who most definitely feels alone after losing his 299 mates on the way.

but got cheered up by meeting with Socrates and Mahatma Gandhi later on.

Oliver Coffee (@dlucks) gave us a bit of an Umbrella Academy feel too with that spy briefcase!

A Sloth? Mr Jones, Jones Management (@Mr_TakeProfits) Sure, why not! Especially since it’s a nice usage of copywriting too.

and now the big guns out. Cory Reeve (@cory_reeve1) started shy but ended on a really high note. Well done Sir!

artist: @cory_reeve1 / prompt: a fururistic humanoid robot in the middle of a blurred crowd, NYC, bustling city street, in a style of a movie still, fog –ar 21:9 –style raw –q 2 / source: Twitter
No artist reference in the prompt? No problem.

let’s finish it off with a killer chicken by Shikoba (@shikoba_86) a.k.a don’t touch my eggs.

and a tiny T-REX of Jose Martín Vaquero (@MartinVaquero24)
