AI BITS: AI TROLLING – LEVEL MASTER, a grown up ROBLOX & GTA car turned boat ride

BIT #1

This would not have happened if the two gentlemen had finally recorded a song as they did back in the good old days, we could easily say right? But it did happen, the song did, but it wasn’t Drake’s, neither The Weeknd’s, though it could easily be theirs. It was AI. And the Internet went nuts! We did too.

A TikTok user, Ghostwriter977 wrote the lyrics, recorded them, and asked AI to replace the vocals with those of Drake and The Weeknd. The track with an incredibly good music line, entitled ‘Heart on My Sleeve’ sounds real as if it’s real, it even includes verses about pop star Selena Gomez, who previously dated The Weeknd. We’ve been fooled.

The track was uploaded to various steaming platforms, but by now, after an uber strong criticism from publisher Universal Music Group, it has already been taken down from Apple Music, Spotify, Deezer and Tidal, with TikTok and YouTube following. The publisher has already asked streaming platforms to ban AI completely. A quake moment for the music industry.

Check out the song in the video below.

if you want to know how the proces may look like you must see the video below by a creator of an AI platform for artists ElunaAI, Roberto Nickson (@rpnickson). And the music industry has changed, as we speak. Kanye is going to go mad about this.

The trolling doesn’t stop, here comes the latest edition of Sony World Photography Awards 2023. A prestigious contest with over 15 years of history, now backed by Sony, had its moment recently, due to the 1st prize scandal caused by… AI. Yup!

artist: Boris Eldagsen / source: Web

The main prize winner in the creative open category, German artist Boris Eldagsen’s, revealed his work entitled ‘Pseudomnesia: The Electrician’ was created using AI. And then he refused to claim his prize. His aim, as he stated, was ‘to test the competition and to create a discussion about the future of photography’. Well noted! The discussion could not be louder than that.

On his website the artist said he ‘applied as a cheeky monkey’ to find out if competitions would be prepared for AI images to enter. ‘They are not,’ he added. ‘AI images and photography should not compete with each other in an award like this. They are different entities. AI is not photography. Therefore I will not accept the award.’

The sh*t hit the fan. Sony World Photography Award has taken down the winning entry, and is reluctant since then to join the discussion that the artist has started. You can follow the press entries and the current status of the affair here.

Roblox, a super popular online game platform and game creation system is now embracing Generative AI. It’s no longer a cartoon like game for kids, it’s super real 3D built world where AI is ready to take the lead as it’s main superpower. In their attempt to become the leader of game libraries size Fortnite and Roblox have recently rivaled Steam and the App Store. With millions of players who build and spend time in custom battle royales, chat rooms, and all sorts of other games, the two are going to embrace AI full profile and become the next big thing, the YouTube of gaming. Just check out the gameplay of the ‘leaked’ Roblox Frontlines. Unreal!

And all this is possible thanks to generative AI that has lifted the 3D creation barriers with AI-based code assistant, where users simply prompt the creator to get their creatives done. Unreal made real.
